Went for a quick jig with the boys on Sunday to our shallow sambo and amberjack spot. Quick sound over, yhep, plenty there, and first drop second crank we were one and landed around 30 in the next 3 hours before heading home early to catch the footy.

Most of the fish were rats in the 5-10 kg mark, fun on light gear. This video is the only evidence of the largest fish of the day by far, a likely solid amberjack but we will never know........you see, several weeks ago, me and Daz "released" a just size dhuie that Deckie Tim has caught and had turned away to get the iki jimi tool......we thought it was pretty funny at the time, but karma, as they say, is a bitch!

Several weeks later and Deckie Tim has his opportunity for revenge as he helps me lift the fish in as I turn away........watch the video.......he even looks surprised and almost sorry.......
