Twisted Dropper Loop - made easier
Submitted by Ericl on Tue, 2017-02-21 14:56
Hi
I always used to struggle with a twisted dropper loop, so I decided to devise a method which made it easier (in my case - possible) to tie a twisted dropper. I find the dropper a great rig for use with a single hook and use it frequently.
I hope this little clip will make it easier for anyone who has had trouble with it in the past

Practice
If you practice it enough it should take you about 30 seconds to do one without all the buggering around with clamps and spacers

The method I use is a modification of this https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_4_7dNRRgRY except as I said in my previous post I use a nail that's in a bit of wood rather than my teeth. As much as I would to do the twisty bit between my thumbs and fingers an accident many years ago means I don't have the dexterity and fine detail movement in one of my hands to do it that way
