trying to make a decision

Just bought a stella 5000sw just wondering what would the best rod to suit for shallow jigging and plastics. ive already got a 10000sw thought i might try a bit lighter

By best I assume you dont have a budget, excellent! Are you doing one more than the other? I've always preferred a much shorter butt on plastics rods compared to jig rods. Though, I do fish deep plastics on an overhead which is a little longer (but those ones I just twitch rather than cast and work like i would if fishing for more surface fish, in shallow or just drifting). But then I like lighter reels for that too :p (but so's the line and the rod)
Do you have a line class in mind?

for light jigging i use a
for light jigging i use a hearty rise jigforce pe 1.5-3. matches my 5000sw perfectly, running pe3, plenty of power!
but if you are going to be using plastics aswell, look into the smith kgs-68m

saltiga extreme
i have a stella sw5000 running 30lb on the saltiga extreme rod i think its pe2-4 it my favorite outfit by far. little bit pricey but you get what you pay for any you will never look back
