todays(friday) quick trip
i could not wait any longer, i had to get out and scratch the itch!!
with the weather not looking the best my 2 boys and myself headed out for some fun anyhow and i was right it was sloopy as hell.
it might look ok in the pics, but it was sloppy!! very steep waves hitting the tub spraying water all over us, hard to stand without holding onto something.
we were hoping to get onto some good sambos from the same spot as last time, only small tackers coming up for the first hour and then they slowly started to get bigger.
not the big boys we got last time, but big enough for some fun.
we got a couple of triple hookups which was madness with us ducking and weaving around each other to land them all, then it was my turn to shine with my favorite jig....jm fallings in chrome....this thing was getting 4 hookups to the boys 1.
troy and blake could not belive i was getting smashed instantly on the bottom and they were getting nothing, then i had a biggen decide he wanted my jig more than me, i felt it scrap againts the rocks and bye bye it went.(oceanside better order some more)
we ended up calling it a day early as they wemt off the bite, but we still managed to get 20+ fish, with 3 larger ones lost on the rocks
brought a couple home for my dogs, they love raw fish!!
some pics of the biggest for the day
cheers ron

Nice work Ron. It sure was a bit sloppy out today! At least you got your Sambo's on board. I berley'd the beasts up in just 4m of water off Hillary's and found out the hard way (again) how silly but fun that is. Managed a few squid to take home for the mornings effort. All very small until heading a bit deaper and scored a thumper at 300mm tube length. Spewin about the wind though!

Even looks lumpy in the pics, I think we all have that itch.
I need an experienced crew that aren't related and/or female to get amoungst all that.
Good to see your Boys get out with you Ron. Would you believe I have 4 children 2 boys and 2 younger girls, and the boys dont want to get out fishin 15yo and 17yo, absolutley unreal....
The wife loves it and the youngest gets out cause she has to. lucky you have a willing and able crew.
Nice fish also, would love to get a few of those myself, was looking at going out with a couple of green mates last Sunday, but that plan was finished of with the weather.
