i purchased a tld 5 about 5-6 years ago from the broome tackle shop, cost me $350, came with a diawa jigstick, wasnt the best of rods but i had the reel serviced, the drag replaced and put it on a custom built saber rod, its my 3kg sportfishing outfit.. shimano should bring back the tld 5 was and still is my favourite combo, ive been offered $500 for the reel alone, but its sooo not for sale.

Yes they are a sweet reel if in good condition for game fishing. I would love to get another one.
