There's always one genius

This genius makes a habit of parking behind Hillary's Boat Shop (opposite the boat lifters entrance) in order to save a few $ parking/launching fees but stuffs it up for 6 other law abiding citizens!

Did you ever think his boat
Did you ever think his boat might be in the lifters getting repairs and he is picking it up ?. There is a lot of 20-25 footers in there on the racks.

I reckon making 6 cars pay
I reckon making 6 cars pay launch fees is good cos there are probably 50+ cars parked in the boat trailer area that havent paid a cent.

sounds like you issue is with those enforcing the parking at Hillarys. I deal with parking issues a bit in my job and sadly people will do what they think they can get away with without much consideration for others

Tighter than a Nuns N@#%Y
People need to realise that some of the money put into the parking fees goes into maintenance and upkeep, not to metion the inspectors. Yes I have been frustrated when I have myself recieved a fine a few years ago. The frustration was because I had paid for a ticket, it was displayed but I had parked with one set of tyres on a cross walk. There was still plenty of room for pedestrians but alass I had offended. This was at the boat launch in the river on the Esplanade, there were that many cars in the boat bays without tickets. I wasn't the happiest, I tried my best to get out of the fine but it was to no avail.
The bugger in question here deserves a fine!

Nice photo Seafari.It is my
Nice photo Seafari. It is my car and trailer in the photo and I was actually in the yard waiting for the fork to lift my boat and they don't allow you to park trailers in the yard ( thanks for having my back Georgejungle)
I pay over $12k a year to DPI for 2 pens that I have boats in up at hillarys marina so I recon I contribute enough kelsea.
To suggest that I park there to save $7 on parking , please.
As for making a habit of it? I've parked there twice I think .
And for the BAHA you like the lines of? Take one for a run before you fall in love.
I agree, nice old school style lines but they don't ride so well.
Do you have a boat in the yard currently? If not , not sure what you were doing in there..

Hey Dirty Mexican, no hard
Hey Dirty Mexican, no hard feelings mate and thanks for owning up and explaining. I went down to HBL 2 days in a row and both times saw the trailer parked across 6 bays and thought, bugger, how's this bloke. There's so many idiots that take chances that nothing surprises me anymore. BTW, I've deleted the photo. If admin wants to delete this thread I have no issues.
I've never been on a Baha and you're not the first to say that they don't ride so well so I will tread with caution. I appreciate the feedback, thanks.
BTW, Neil who runs HBL is a nice bloke and if you ever need to park your trailer in the yard for a few hours he's always happy to accommodate. In fact he allowed me to park my tri-axel in the lifters yard over night. If you're having work done there they are pretty accommodating.
BTW, how do you manage to get 2 x DPI pens, I'd just like one ;-)
