Thank You Ocean Side Tackle

On feedback from members I decided to purchase some 'Stren Gold' line from Oceanside tackle.
Oceanside is a site sponsor and never really using them before, (primarily because I am based in Bunbury) I have never thought to purchase from them in the past.
However, after dealing with Hon-Su and getting all the info on said product I was chasing, Oceanside delivered on time, a great product and without any fuss, and at a great price.
I often look off shore for products and am guilty of forgetting we have good suppliers on our doorstep.
I think members should consider contacting Oceanside for all their tackle needs, an NO!! I have not been put up to this as a advertising speal. This is praise off my own back.

Hope you're getting into some
Hope you're getting into some of the 'Northern Pelagics' hanging round the Busso/Capes area at the moment? Garbo and I were round the Capes trolling yeaterday until the wind picked up and we could see a nice Mackie swimming between my trolled Gardie and Rapala CD 18. He kept mouthing the Gardie but just wouldn't hook up. Plenty of Stripies around though and once we got back to Quindalup there was a huge Blue Groper Frame in the water at the back of the jetty along with 2 Dhuie frames. I wasn't impressed with that.

Hey Bluetonic, do you mean
Hey Bluetonic, do you mean yesterday as in Saturday? Did you see the Golf Buggy in the water at the Quindalup ramp? I launched at about 0800 and was quiet an interesting sight seeing a golf bugger just a bit off the shore????? Aqautic golf maybe
Did some trolling from the Cape back to Eagle Bay. Lots of baitfish on sounder, no Macks or Tuna though.
I got back in at 1540. Didnt see the fish frames but had a nice lady who decided to fish and have all her crab pots off the end of the finger jetty. Had to go around all the crab pot ropes and basically tie up almost at the beach end of the jetty. Dont people realise that the jetty is for the launching and retrieving of boats
. I actually don't have a problem with people fishing/crabbing off the finger jetty, just if they would be a bit more considerate and move their lines and ropes out of the way if a boat is coming in is all i would like.

Yeah mate, I saw the green
Yeah mate, I saw the green golf buggy to the south side of the jetty when we launched in the dark. Me and Garbo had a laugh and thought someone must have had a good night. We got back in at 2ish and had a young bloke at the end of the jetty who we thought was fishing, which made it hard for us to berth as the wind was really picking up. As it turned out he was trying to hook fish frames in the water and that's how we came to see one was a huge Blue Groper.

Hmmmm someone must have had a
Hmmmm someone must have had a REALLY GOOD NIGHT. It almost looked like they actually drove it around in the shallows a while, before it ulitmatly died. Guess the Golf course must have picked it up later in the morn.
Ah probably why i didnt see the fish frames. Guess the young bloke must have been successful at retrieving them.
Guess whoever discarded them doesn't want a free cool stubby cooler or a chance to win a Monties Trip from Fisheries. Actually wouldnt suprise me if thats what the young tacker was doing, get the bodies and enter them as his own! Hahahahahaha.
