Tamala camping fishing

Normally go to Peron national park for my shark bay annual pilgramme but thinking of mixing it up a little.
Having a tinny and a 5m quintrex I was wondering where would be the best place to camp for the best access to launching and then fishing either boat at Tamala station?
Which boat would be most suitable?
Have been reading the search items on Tamala and it sounds like we should get a feed fishing a high tide and the channels which don't seem to be too far offshore

Stayed up at Useless Loop a few weeks ago, you'd wanna make sure your trailer under both the boats are in pretty good nick, few corrugations the further you go north but the road into Tamala station shouldn't be too bad.
A tinny will do you well in and around the bays but the wind can whip up in the arvo which makes it uncomfortable but not unsafe. Not sure where to launch your boat around there but we picked a beach that had a hard rock bottom with a covering of sand and didn't have any worries.
If it was me I'd take the 5m just because it opens up your options a bit more than a tinny.

Prickly p[oint
Prickly point campsite has a sloping natural rock launch ramp that can easily take a 5m tinny. We did this in May 2014 in a 5.3 m quinny coast runner. Went out into the main bay about 10k run from launch ramp for big pinkies. We needed our tags back then but that has changed. Prickly point has a long drop dunny and piped bore water suitable for showers or washing dishes. Most sites have a fire pit (bring your own wood).
The flat rock ledge at the camp site drops about 3 metres into clear water and nice black snapper patrol this area late arvo into evening. Use fillets of butterfish. some bluebone about but they are very flighty.
