Saltiga Boat Braid
Suggest check out Saltiga Boat Braid on ebay.
You can get 1800m of PE4 Boat Braid which is rated at 55lb delivered for around $200 which will give you 3 respools on the Talica 12 with some backing.
The T12 has a max drag rating of 40lb so depending what rod you are matching it to if you went to the PE5 Boat Braid for not much more $ you'll get a 65lb rated braid (tests at over 75lb) with around same line capacity as a typical 50lb rated braid like Powerpro.
I just bought 1800m spool of PE6 to re-spool a Talica 12 and a Talica 16II. The PE6 is rated at 80lb breaking strain which should allow for some of my dodgy knots and for mates lines dragging over mine on multiple sambo or amberjack hook-ups, wear and tear etc.
I am hoping to get around 450m of the PE6 onto my T12 and 600m on the T16II.

I had 400m of saltiga boat
I had 400m of saltiga boat braid put on my tac 10 and could have squeezed another 50-60m on top of that. Not sure how much more you would get on a 12 though. Go close!
Cheers
