I've been 5 times in the past two weeks around the Canning and Narrows bridges and have probably caught around 75 undersize. A few have been up around 28/29cm but generally the closer to the bridge the smaller they get.
I'm landbased though, so relatively restricted in how much I can explore in the hour or so I have before work.
this used to be a ausome spot until half of asia realised that it had big crabs but we used to get tailor up to 65cm here in early november quite reguarly the place is called claremont jetty!
cast stick baits at the drop off into the channel but now unless you go at like 1 in the morning dont expect to get a spot or if you do expect a bunch of idiots to be throwing crab nets over your line feet belongings everywhere!
