Where did you fish? I've found around Claremont/Mosman Bay/Freshwater Bay to produce fish up to 45 cm. Caught them on both metals and minnows, and all through the day as well.

Did really good in the cockburn sound on saturday morning ,Was a bit rough but thats the way the chopper's like it. Troll speed is a big factor Aprox 3-5 Knt has been good for us. Keep line and leeder as small as possible. Found that almost any twisty/spanyard style will work but some better than others ;)

That's your down fall alright, they won't be that far upstream. I launch from Johnson st ramp in Mosman Bay, but you need a 4x4 to launch there.

i was out on saturday morning with a mate and the kids(in my dark blue trailcraft 660) and we trolled and cast for about an hour and a half over a huge baitball about 100m off the old brewery jetty near the narrows and caught and released over 50 tailor(with several quadruple hookups!!) then we went upstream when the wind started and caught and released 8 bream to 39cm on river prawns unweighted at garrat rd bridge, it was a top morning for the kids.  cheers

That was another guy I didnt get his name, but was chatting to him and his missus and gave him a hand getting his boat in after we got ours up with the strong wind on sat arvo, said the only set of keys left in the flipped boat happened to be the ones for the car with the trailer! lucky!

trawling is what pro fisho,s do with a big net towed behind their boat. Trolling is what fisho,s do when they tow a few lures behind their boat. There is a difference and you may find you will get some funny looks and comments
