Swan River Flathead

 G'day all,

I'm heading out on Saturday morning in search of some Swan River flathead. Just wondering if someone could point me in the right direction when it comes to areas to try? I will be around the Narrows/Applecross. Side note, Is it too early to have a trolling sesh for some tailor?

Cheers in advance,

Rory

 I would give the highway

I would give the highway side of the canning bridge a shot on the drop off next to the channel, should be some around there. And when you get up to the end of the rock wall about 200m away from the bridge, I would go to the Applecross jetty and start working your way back to the canning bridge. This is assuming you have a dinghy?

also I don't know too much about swan river tailor but I'm pretty sure that they will be running in November and December so it couldn't hurt if you gave it a try IMO.

thanks,

lachie
