Swan diesel spill

Apprantly tests are being carried out in waters in the Swan near the Royal Perth Yacht Club after a 250-litres of diesel was spilled there yesterday.

There was some report on the news about "1000's of fish wash up dead on a perth beach", but it was one of those 'previews' where they dont give you any more info. I wonder if its related or something else.
I cant imagine 250L not creating a very large slick, so cant of been too easy to clean up? Though, I have seen these fancy foams they spray then pull off the semi-solidifed foams along with the oil which does a good job of removing most of it. I dont know if it used in the field though (let alone in perth)

Yeah Colin, heard the report via the bush telegraph on my wireless (
) it said that the authorities would decide whether to press charges once they had investigated the matter and assessed the environmental impact.
