Surf popper tip

If anyone has read my article in Issue 3 of Fishwhrecked Reeltime and ends up trying surf poppers out, here is a bit of a tip.

I have found recently that spraying some scent on the feathers (such as Ultrabite), or dipping them in some Tuna oil, really creates extra interest from the fish.

Give it a try.

I think Owner do trailer feather pre-tied as an after market treble in two packs.

If you need any help just drop me a PM and I would be happy to pass on tips.

I look forward to seeing some of your finished products and your successful captures.

The big tailor should start showing up around Perth soon, so it is a good time to make a few poppers.
