bream take cover in rough
bream take cover in rough weather, so when its raining and windy etc they'll be under jettys, bridges, pylons etc. Canning bridge, matilda bay, JoJo's, claremont jetty and of course the yacht clubs would be holding good bream this time of year.

in the past years when i
in the past years when i chased bream all the time i found in these kind of conditions as Silly mentioned they like to take shelter in more protected areas , pilons and so forth allow the bream to take refuge from the rain so they dont get wet :).i have noticed the bream will be around their normal haunts but will spook easily so it makes them harder to catch, good luck with the hunt ,

Reason behind this
being that during wet inclement weather think about all the food that gets washed into the waterways then you understand why the bream hang around that sort of structure .

Salinity change
Can force fish toward the river mouth and deeper areas where salinity changes occur much more slowly - it is common at this time of the year (except when we have a drought) for the upper reaches to become devoid of fish........I would be targetting areas much closer to Fremantle.
