If so, depends on what sort've fishing you want to do.. baits vs flicking lures. I've got a similar reel matched to a shimano jewel 762 which is awesome for flicking lures around but you may want something bigger if you're thinking more surf fishing.. hope that helps

Tcurve coastal series 9 '. Along with 20lb braid. That's what I have mine on. Good for flicking lures all day long.
