IMO, the Erito is great rod
IMO, the Erito is great rod for demersal metal jigging. Nice parabolic action to put hurt on the fish rather than the angler.
Soft plastic is better off fished using a fast action rod to impart the darting action required.
Having said that, i've seen people used a PE3 jigging rod for heavy soft plastic applications and still caught fish.

Yeh, would think anything
Yeh, would think anything over half oz jighead wont get worked as effectively as a fast taper rod. I use 3/8 oz most of the time and its 10-12m deep and the rod tip is crisp enough to work it and casts good too

cool thanks guys, so by fast
cool thanks guys, so by fast taper does that mean that the tip of the rod is more stiff when imparting action, or is it the other way around?
