Several years ago whilst diving the D9 we witnessed what looked like a spiralling tornado of snapper ......they were thinning out close to the bottom but were thick as the higher in the water column you went .......no camera sorry but will remember the scene for the remainder of my days

Would love to see a school on the surface, sounds silly but would be jumping straight in with a mask to have a look from the water.
