depends
the cliffs on the west coast range from 30-100m+high, unlikely to get washed off those ones.
I have see swells come up prety high at the point and there was a video recently of this happening but down at the faultline it would be unlikely. Anyway the ranger wont let anyone stay there these days in bad weather and as soon as they get more than 10mm of rain they evacuate the point due to the track usually being flooded

Was up there last week and the first day we fished cliffs 2-3m above the water but by the end we couldn't get near them as the swell had got that bad.
