Just notified today that a commercial squid fisherman operating out of Port Geo. has put a dent in the squid population in the bay so it might explain why things have gone quiet on the fishing front if you're targeting squid.
went down last week and cleaned up bro! I am a notoriously bad luck squidder and got my bag full last week. good sizes too - talking hoods around the 30cm mark :)

Yeah,
they're still around but it has certainly slowed from their peak in winter when they were everywhere.
