Oh and also what is some good braid to go with it thats not too expensive (im thinking 8-10lb) i was thinking daiwa J-Braid x8 But looking at the PE is PE1 too big for eging  (PE1 is 8lb J-braid) 

 The Nasci is a great little reel. I've been using the 2500 loaded with 8lb braid for the last year or so. From flicking lures at trout in streams to tailor over reef to snapper from a boat & yes, squidding to, it's taken it all in it's stride & is still as smooth as the day I bought it. Can't comment on J-braid as I've never used it but 8lb would be fine for squid. I actually really like 8lb braid (I run fireline smoke) for squidding as it gives you enough grunt to pull a jig & bend the prongs straight if it gets caught up on a rock or whatever.
