I hear cats are good,
I hear cats are good, ooooppppsssss sorry they are good for cray bait.(no offence intended for cat lovers ).
seriously any fresh bait or live bait is good but if you dont have either a frozen herring or the likes will work too. fresh is better all round.

i aint no pro but...
anything really! Mullet, tailor, blue mack, herring, live whiting, squid theres nothing really a shark wont take. But from what i've been hearing from the other lads they have been having luck with the mullet and tailor, with the bigger specimans using big fish heads(tuna mostly from what i've heard).
kill it??? eat it!!!!

Don't think your bait is to
Don't think your bait is to big a 1m shark will still eat a 50cm bait so whole tailor as big as possible, whole mullet, big blue Mack's but if you want good number of small sharks to 1.2m can't really beat whole herring fresh ones of course, just what I've found lately.
always looking for a new challenge!!

I also reckon fresh herring
I also reckon fresh herring or tailor is the best, live baits are even better. If none of that is avaliable then use blue macks when ballooning or mullet
Good things come to those who bait
