Samurai reaction 302

hi guys, was wondering if any of you guys have owned or used a samurai reaction 302?, my question is what reel was matched to it?, i am considering buying one but as i live in Port Hedland can't just head to a tackle store that stocks them and have a look for myself, was thinking that a daiwa luvias da 2500 or 3000 spooled with 14lb braid may match?, any info would be greatly appreciated.

I currently have a Samurai 302 matched up to a 10' Certate 2500R running 0.8-12lb and it is a fantastic combo. It is a little bit on the softer side so I wouldn't recommend running 14lb line through it as you just won't get enough grunt out of the rod to appreciate the breaking strain of the line. It makes fighting bigger fish a longer process most of the time but I believe I have landed more fish due to the forgiving nature of a soft rod (less pulled hooks and bust offs). It is a great allrounder saltwater rod but sometimes Its just a little bit slow for casting metals or using bigger plastics (5 inch sort of size with 1/2-3/4 jigheads).

Yep, I have one running a Certate 2508 ( high speed version of 2500) with 0.6 - 8 lb.
My favorite combo. 2500 Daiwa or 3000 shimano perfect size.
Boston Whaler 235 Conquest......getting the flogging it was built for.
