hey guys,
heading to espenace to meet the fiances family but hoping to sneak out for a fish, anyone know if theres any salmon going around down there and if so what is the go with rig and bait.

yep plenty mate....they are
yep plenty mate....they are here most of the year. Stockyards, fourths, Salmon beach and all the out of town spots like Poison etc are bristling with them.
Caught some at Roses on saturday on a paternoster rig, one dropper with 4/0 gang hooks and mulie and the other with a surf popper....caught most on the surf popper over the mulie, which is a first for me!! Probaly cos the hezzas had picked off the mulie most times.
Beaut weather here all week........pity I gotta work

just curious how does that work does the popper work on the hope you will get some interest on the retreive?
