But there have been the odd one or two turning up at the Grant St reefs at Cottesloe.

You need to check the guidelines for the groynes there. There are different times of the day, at different times of the year that you can fish the groynes.
Go to the Town of Cambridge website. www.cambridge.wa.gov.au
They have a special page on all the best fishing spots in that area and the rules on when you can fish those groynes.

I was down at city beach

Mon, 2008-05-26 16:59

I was down at city beach groyne sunday morning 9:30 till 10:30 spoke to the surf patrol before i started fishing ,he said it was no problem .A couple of the surfers wern"t as polite but thats why god put sharks in the ocean.Caught half a dozen reasonable herring for lunch .

I was keeping an eye out for salmon but i wasnt set up for them anyway.Hope to see some soon.I'll let you know if i see any.

Dont have a shower before you go. the waves hitting the end of the rocks does a fine job
