 hey guys, just bought myself a new shimano stradic Ci4 1000 and i need some help with selecting the right rod. its gonna be primarily a bream set up.

i matched my 1000 ci4 with a tairyo rod i got from tackleshack. Best bream combo ever. those tairyo rods are almost unbreakable.

the best rod i coud find in that price range was a 1/3kg XT rod from bluewater morley. it matches with my 1000 perfectly and i looked at dozens of rods before buying it.   cheers

Hey Mate!  There is/was a Shimano Fireblood Rod at Canning Vale Getaway Outdoors that'd be sweet with that reel.  Sa,e colour scheme too.

I think it was a 2-4 kg.   Def check it out.

7foot 1-3kg lox best rod ive ever used so light would fit that reel perfect i like it better than my fireblood and daiwa rods have a feel excellent for softplastics .
