Reusing Terminal Tackle / Retying knots

Just wondering what other peoples thoughts are on reusing swivels or hooks trip after trip. I'm always skeptical about reusing swivels when they have any of that white/green corrosion on them, would that actually weaken them much? Obviously heavy corrosion would but where do you draw the line and just throw it out and use a new one? And how rusty does a hook have to be for you to change it to a new one? In particular on lures.
Also do you retie all your knots (bimini's etc) before each trip or just use them till they snap?
Personally in general if in any doubt I'll chuck it out and use new gear or retie, I'd hate to loose a good fish due to being stingey.

swivels are no prob. hooks ,
swivels are no prob. hooks , you just got to use a bit of common sence, if its starting to rust it wont be as sharp so just check them . as far as the bimini's go , i tend to get a few trips out of them but do check the line and knot

I leave nothing to chance,
I leave nothing to chance, there's nothing worse than doubting your rig once you hook a fish out deep. I always use quality ball bearing swivels and Owner super Mutu hooks. In terms of leader, any sign of abrasion etc. it gets replaced.

I only use my hooks once or
I only use my hooks once or twice then through them out (Chem Sharpened), with swivels i reuse them until they have a small amount of corrosion

usually start with a fresh
usually start with a fresh leader every trip, hook and swivels replaced upon inspection. Smaller, cheaper hooks often get chucked after a sesh, expensive ones get to live again.

I reuse leaders, I just check them for scuffing or nicks both when I put them away, and before use.
Assists and swivels get reused, subject to inspection.
At the end of the day/trip, I take the gear and washt the sale off before putting it away, and that includes swivels and hooks etc.

For swivels i use until it
For swivels i use until it shows signs of scaling or getting rough then its gone, hooks that shows signs of minor rust are still ok tested them, but rust at the tip or the eye gets thrown out, fluro leader gets inspected and reused since it is costly to replace it, mono leader gets replaced nearly every time.
