Redfin fishing

This is possibly a stupid question, though a question I need/want clarified. Fishing for Redfin (pest) I do require a freshwater license ? Even if if is for the greater good of our marron stocks!
No different to boat fishing for seaweed I guess! If there is something I am not aware of , let me know! Otherwise , tight lines, keep it screaming and roll on the white run

Yes a licence is required.all the dams in Waroona are over run with stunted perch.Flog as mant as you can.To get bigger ones you can troll minnow type hard body lures 150mm in black and green tiger stripes the last hour of daylight or cast big wonder wobblers.you can still get little ones but have a chance at 3 lb plus specimens.they are there just got to get to them
just do it.

I lived at roelands and went to wellington a lot.Found a huge dead redfin carcass on the shore once.I mean snapper size,That is such a vast waterway they have never stunted there.Saw a few marroning last season,Anything will work there.I used tiger minnows once lip hooked at the wall and landed one every cast.I know a lot of natives are protected but I dont think tigers are.you get plenty at honeymoon pool either in a trap or on no16 hooks and a speck of worm.
just do it.
