Went Saturday arvo and fished the reef about half way between. No weed whatsover and beach was fine to drive on. Wind was probably too light for tailor but still managed 4 around 38 cm. Not great but better than nothing. No herring around which was unusual for that spot. Maybe needs some wind and higher tides to stir it up a little?
Last Sat mid morning and arvo we pulled up at the reef ( Heading in from Whitehills ) and the track was fine but chopped a little ( Let tyres down to 15psi as soft 5k down the track )
Fished till 9pm and only 1 tailor but during the day plenty of herring and heaps of small Tarwhine. We fished just at the start of the reef with little wind and flat seas and low swell so not surprised only 1 tailor but what a great spot. Will be heading there hopefully this sat so look for a white Nissan D40 with canopy, fishing roof racks, side awning and white bull bar with 4 spotlights on it and call in for a chat so i can meet some of the fisho's on here

See what this front stirs up.
Hopfully swell isn't to big and hasn't brought in to much weed. Might head down this saturday arvo for a overnighter.
