g'day guys
as shown on a previous post i have made some new lights for this years prawning.
these are all led and worked a treat, with half the amount of current draw.
i tested them last night and they produced good even light and after 3 hrs in the water still no sign of dulling down on 1 batt, it looks like i will be able to run them all night no probs at all.
here is a couple of pics
now bring on the prwans after exxy!!!!

I put led's on and in
my boat. put some on transom below water line for squidding and found they also atrract the prawns.. BONUS. Have LED'S in the boat [under gunwhales and in cab] and can leave them ALL on for the night and still have enough batt power to start up. Also run 2 LED' flood lights from rocket launcher. Never had prob with batt power. Got these lights from boatlight fishing.com

yer mate, the led are great.
i run just about every light in the boat as led, the removable led light bar is just for prawning, i used to use 2 flood lights and a genny,
that was ok but noisy.
i then tried som down lights, they were also good but drew way to much power and flattened a n70z batt in 2 1/2 hrs.
these seem to be the go now.
cheers
Goodz

Thurs/Fri night or over the weekend
Could be a goer. Tides arent perfect, but should still be able to get the end of the outgoing tide. At least its had a rain today/tomorrow and a sprinkle last week, maybe it will give em a bit of a kick in the guts?
