Hi guys
has anyone used power pro braid? i currently have it 50lb on my boat combo and it has been great. i am looking for some braid in that weight for a heavey spinning combo and a couple of tackle stores that dont sell it have written it off, although you get that.
anyone had any good/bad experiences with this line
cheers

I have it on several reels, seems to hold up fine. Not the thinnest stuff around but works with most mono knots.

Power Pro
I too have power pro on some of my reels and it holds up fine. It is used nearly every time by at least one of us when we go out deep and has never let anybody down.
When you say "heavy" how heavy are you talking? I generally move to at least Tufline after say 50lb.

I've had an ok time with it, but I don't use it any more.
The US Tuna fishers almost universally despise it though and seem to say "friends don't let friends power-pro".
I mostly use daiwa boat braid.

Sorry, I got it mixed up
Sorry, I got it mixed up with Tuff Line. I do have one reel with Power Pro though and it hasn't given me any grief, but like I said earlier, it's not the thinnest stuff around.
