Pom New Member

Hi one and all! First post from a fishing fanatic from the land of Pom, Liverpool to be exact. I have have been looking at the site with the usual jealousy, the fish the weather. So thought I had better pay you a visit. I am coming to Aus at the beginning of April see the kids and my grandsons and to do so fishing of course.

I will be spending most of the time in Perth probably catching Blowies with the boys. I am also heading down south to Albany and Pemberton.

My real passion is beach / shore fishing. I have fished up at Monkey Mia, Geraldton, Perth at Hilary's and down south at Margret River.

Cant wait sitting in work now counting the days!

See you soon try keep some of the warm weather its been freezing here!

You will love it here, April is pretty good with the winds too, so if you can get out on a boat you will have a good shot.

Roger Knife our honorary Aussie had a great trip a few months back. Check out his tales of a Pom downunder in Issue 4 of the Reeltime magazine.

Like the others, looking forward to hearing your fishing (and other) experiences in the great southern.   Was down there on the weekend and it's just starting to green up after a harsh summer.  Beautiful country, great fishing.
