point walter jetty
Hi everyone,
thanks for all the tips that i have been reading through the forums.
they have been great in regards to what to use, where and when to go and whats biting. basically the only thing that you havent done for me is throw in the line.
quite a novice to the fishing game, but i am learning it and loving it. my wife would say that i am now officially addicted.
last night i went to point walter and pulled out a nice couple of crabs, the location that everyone is pointing to in the river for crabs.
then went up the river towards freo and pulled out 7 sand whiting. good feed they are.
once i figure out the upload thing and reducing size of photo's i will put up some photos.
but thanks once again guys and i look forward to reading more tips in the future.

resizing photos
i just use windows live photo gallery import a file of your photos to that then select the photos you want to use go to file up the top of them and select resize this will let you choose a smaller file size thats how i do mine anyway

If you look on the right hand side of the page
you will see a comprehensive link called Adding Photos to Fishwrecked. It is very helpful.

Good effort
getting out there is the first step, it will come to you eventually, we have been boat fishing for 5 yrs and still a long way to go
you said your wife says you are officially hooked , i hope your wife does the same , then you will spend many enjoyable hours out on the water as my wife and i do
fishing can be verry addictive and when you cant get your salt water fix every couple of weeks (if not every week) it can be verry frustrating
enjoy the fishing ,relaxing and if you do get a feed enjoy the fresh fish but most of all just enjoy being out on the water away from it all

thankyou for the sentiment Faulkners
we have a couple of young ones.
I take my little girl who is 6 with me and she loves it.
the young bloke is only 2 and not quite ready for the action yet although probably not far off.
my wife enjoys the spoils (when there are some), but she is keen to go.
thanks once again Faulkners
