Plaig Reel Bearings

It's time to give my 1000 Rareniums a birthday after both being dunked. I stripped and regreased them etc straight away but they are suffering from noisy bearings. Has anyone purhased a bearing kit for their reel from Plaig and how did they go?

Cheers JF

I bought a set of bearings from them for my old 2500 stradic FI a while ago. Changed them out and it’s like a new reel again. I got the cheaper set and not the ceramic ones. So far so good for me.

I’ve done all of my reels and several rebuilds on mates reel, I always use plaig and they’ve been great. I put ceramic in one of my stradics but I don’t think it made a notable difference in performance, hopefully they’ll last a little longer though.
