Pflueger supreme vs FWA rod
Submitted by monfsts on Wed, 2011-07-20 16:44
Hi,
Has anyone owned/used a pflueger supreme rod either the 1-3kg 6'6" or the 3-6kg 7' one piece?
Could someone share some feedback/experience with these rods?
How would you compare it to the FWA rod?
Thanks in advance!

Haven't used the pfleugers but I'm guessing you're comparing to the FWA 6'6 2-4kg??
I've had a feel of a mates FWA rod, which was around $150+ from memory... I liked the look and feel of it, and it seemed like an awesome all rounder (casting plastics, hard bodies, bait etc).

I did have a feel of it and yes it's light, looks good too.
Hopefully we get more inputs from other respective rod users :)

monfsts,
The Pflueger Supreme 1-3kg 6'6" is a ultra light finesse rod which is good for very light SP & HB stuff. The FWA 2-4kg is a line class step up but the tip action is good for throwing lighter stuff also but different actions.
As for the Pflueger Supreme 3-6kg 7' versus the FWA they are very similar but the price on the FWA rod is pretty good.
