PE1 rod recommendation

Chasing a PE1 rod for casting small divers and soft plastics for smaller trevs, bonefish, triggerfish etc.

Been looking at a Golden Mean Green Arrow spinning, but keen to hear if anyone else has any other suggestions (especialy as this rod is shorter than what I am after).

Ideally after a 7ft 2 piece spin rod in the 2-4kg range. Would consider a 1 piece if it was 6'6", but any longer than that is a pain in the ass as a 1 piece. I have a Tierra at the moment, but I don't like it and that is the rod this would be replacing.

Will be matched up with a 2500 size reel (probably Stradic ci4).

Also considering an Evergreen Brushstinger, but don't want to spend a fortune on it and the evergreen is far more exxy than the Golden Mean.

When asked by a non-fisherman 'how many fishing rods do you really need?' the correct answer is either:

n+1 (where n is the number of fishing rods you currently own); or

n-1 (where n is the number of fishing rods which would cause your significant other to dump you.

I use the yoshi

yoshi- LS7623 1-3kg / nitro copy

More than enough for bones up to 80cm. But not good for GT's over 20kg  as ive experienced in the cocos. Landed goldens on the flats over 6kgs but what a pain...

There cheap $205 and quality. Have length for distance casts but be careful as they have a long thin taped tip. Even the T curve 2-4 is very good. a bit dated now but ive put mine thru hell and still great.

Cheers guys

Are those Lox Yoshi rods a Bluewater direct import or something? I can't find anyone else selling them (presumably others are selling them and calling something else?)

I've also been told that Majorcraft make some suitable rods, so will check them out also.

Cheers

Dan

they are at tackleworld stores only because the guys and a few others had alot of input into them action wise. They are based on a few select style rods.
