Outboard engine cover
So, I go and get my boat serviced again before my trip to shark bay next week, from the same place in Bunbury that I have done for the last 5 years(Millard's), and when I get home I notice that the outboard cover is missing like it was last year, they took it off and forgot to put it back on, another trip back to Bunbury to pick it up :(. I ring them and ask is it still there and they say not it got put back on, I explain it's not on there and then I get told it hasn't been off. I question it again, this time it's been just rolled up a bit then rolled back down, it must of blown off or someone stole it on my way home from Bunbury, but the big Velcro strap was def put back on,even the receptionist seen it.By now I'm a bit Argo, called the manager and he said he has never seen one come off before, except this one. I explain the grease on the engine cowling and he is at a loss. All he can do is go halves in a new cover, and he said he doesn't want to loose my business because I've been there since I've had my boat.
All I can say is F$&K
I know it's a bit of a winge , just had to vent a bit
Sorry guys

if there is greese on the
if there is greese on the cowling they would have had it off. therefore my guess they just forgot to put it back on and dont want to own up to their stupidity or if they did put it on they forgot to secure it. tell them if they want your bussiness they better replace it or you wont return and advise others not to go there. see what they say then.

I have to comment on this one
In the past 5 years I have been to 6 places to have work done to my boat and have walked away disappointed with each one. I am starting to think its just the industry, very disappointed.
If one company starts providing the service and expertise you would expect they will make a fortune in referrals alone.

Have to agree with you there
Craig, I think the 4 stroke 100 hour service is a absolute joke. Have had a crack at a couple of so called service techs about their rip off prices and poor quality $120 an hour prestige Labour!

sounds like below average customer service.
after being burned on so many things in the past i've learnt question once and if you get a pathetic response shop elswhere in the future.
these companys dont need your business, its called ostrich syndrome, except replace the sand with their own asshole's.
Here we go again.

shorty, i too have not been
shorty, i too have not been real happy with the servicing i received from the same joint, last time i got my boat back it had grease all over my transom and over the seats, not to mention they had it a whole day longer than what they said they would. i have been taking the boat to bluewater since and havnt had any problems yet, and their mechanics seem to know what they are talking about, im a heavy duty plant mechanic in the mines so i know when people are trying to bullshit me anyway, maybe give them a go, they seem pretty good for a small outfit
