Heading up to kalbarri soon and just want to no how other cliff fishers rig there lures i love me singles for tailor, but these fish are gonna be a bit bigger than your average tailor have been looking at the assist hook set up or should i just stick with good quality trebles.
Target will be tuna and trevally and possiby maks but might be a bit cool for them
The lures, all soughts, maria fully loaded sticks and some larger sticks floating and sinking, big poppers, plugs, raiders ect and a few xraps

Generally big singles for me
Generally big singles for me for the following reasons:
- Keep it simple - more hooks (double assists etc) greater likelihood of tangles.
- I find singles enable the lure to have a more natural action (at least so far as the design allows for) better hydrodynamically which should lead to more hook ups, you could even get the in line/flat singles (I think VMC and Owner do some).
- Castability/aerdoynamics i find big trebles create quite a bit of drag and can encourage lures to tumble in the air.
- Less snagging with singles. i have fished some nasty snaggy stuff especially up that way and lures with singles tend to be easier to retrieve from reef than trebs.
lastly depending on what you are intending to do with the catch, singles tend to leave less damage once removed.
