Onstrike

Had two days with Onstrike in June. Thoroughly enjoyed it and I thought it was good value. I would go with them again.

 Depends what you really

Depends what you really want. If you want a skipper that goes flat out all day and covers the miles to make sure his customers get the best possible chance of getting what they are after..... Go With Peak.

If you want to cruise around in the gulf or just behind the reef so as to save as much fuel as possible on a comfy boat. Go with Onstrike.

Look at recent tournament results to see who works the hardest and knows their backyard the best.

Good description. One catches most of the fish, the other writes about it in Bluewater Magazine!

Diversity

I have been on Onstrike and Diversity. Both are good but I would go with Diversity for reasons similar to what Dodgy said. Haven,t been with Eddy but he sounds awesome if you can get a booking.

Depends on age and how hardcore you want

I've seen plenty of days where onstrike has put the yards in but no doubt peak probably pushes the limits weather wise a bit more. If I was taking my old man(75) I would book onstrike, but just me and mates then peak if I wanted to chase blues. Popping etc I think whoever you can book. Don't know the diversity guys at all but I know they put some miles in when we were up in November

Eddy from peak sportfishing has been getting his clients some nice billfish lately, he works very hard to get you onto the fish.

onstrike was pretty good, now

Mon, 2014-12-15 20:19

onstrike was pretty good, now I look back the cruise around part becomes evident, there were "no tuna bust ups," so we cruised around picking cobes off manta rays for half the trip until the tide came in and we went to the shallows around the murions for queens. was pretty good, but skipper seemed pretty set on using sp's and only targeting what he thought was there and how he wanted.

Fishing and catching are two different things. But i want to learn how to catch.

I have just finished a charter with Eddy on PEAK Sportsfishing.

absolutely awesome operator. Goes hard, has a wicked sense of humour and can find fish like no one I've ever seen.

the first day we went 3/3/3 on blues and 2/2/2 on blacks. Second day 2/1/1 on blues with a couple of dollies as well.

Highly recommend if you want some serious fishing.

Cheers pete
