Onslow Fishing Landbased/Kayak
Submitted by Albee Mangles on Wed, 2013-04-10 19:03
Heading up to Onslow for a few days next week pre-exmouth, anyone have any tips for fishing the place?
Looks like a ton of little creeks, any good ones accesable from town or by 4x4 worth a look on foot or by kayak? Any close inshore spots worth a look on the yaks?
Any info appreciated.

You may want to keep an eye
You may want to keep an eye out for crocs, last few years regular reports of a salty in the ashburton confirmed by calm with photos at the IGA and the visitors centre. Last time I was there sign posts at 3mile also warning of salties in the area

Hi mate
There's a couple of good creeks south of town - one that you can drive pretty much straight to from memory and one that requires a fair round trip (4 mile creek I think), but where I caugtht a big queenie on the incoming tide once. Heaps of jacks and small trevors etc.
