Good spot
Head out of town on main drag. About 8km out dirt road on left posted coastal access track. follow this track for about 3km you hit a gate. Go past this (close it behind you) keep going on same track for about 8km and when you get to a big open vally there will be two tracks on your left about 200m apart both lead to same place to a gate. keep going past gate and it gets quite soft over a coupple of hills and you are at the sand bar.
One of my favourate land based spots up here. Lots of big stripeys out there atm after the nesting turtles. Lost both my big shark rigs out there the on Wednesday. Just got smoked, ran out of line twice on my shimano O/H 600m of 30lb and no chance of stopping it. Landed a 2.5M stripy on same setup out there, so there must be some big ones out there.

hey mate, when you get up
hey mate,
when you get up there, head over to the Shopping centre and drop into the quad biking shop/ tour booking office. They have mud maps of the area that they sell for a gold coin. The Sand Bar is on the map as are most other good spots to check out in the area. Cotty_CoralBayWA's description is spot on Be aware that a lot of the bay to the north are sanctuary zones (the sand bar is ok though).
Also rememeber to air down before you try and get to these spots. A lot of guys try and bust through these tracks with full pressure in their tires and they just chew that track up for everyone else. Its a hell of a spot, had some great fun there with light gear chasing trevs and queenies and flathead. I go out there everytime I go to Coral Bay
