Okuma Azores 65/90

Anyone have any feedback on these reels? (Im looking at the Z-65S (meant to be 20kg drag)

These reels have a pretty good review from what Ive read abouth them and pretty well priced. Even more so with Okumas warranty.

Anyone thats one thats got one of these or the 90 model id be keen to hear your thoughts.

Cheers

Dunno about those reels, but I still use my big Salina reel for bottom bouncing and that works pretty good. 50lb spiderwire line. No issues at all.

I have two of them. A 4000 for soft plastics and a 10000 for bottom bouncing and a bit of jigging and love them. Would get another if I could find a 5000 or 6000.

I've got an 8k for jigging.

I've got an 8k for jigging. It's not as smooth as it was out of the box or my Saragosa that was purchased at the same time, but it's a powerful reel that will stop a freight train! I got mine from Oceanside 6months ago for around $200 but this popped up in my inbox this morning... That a lot of reel for that price!

I had seen that in my email this morning as well. I have my eye on a 7'2 combo. Interesting to hear that after 6 mo the it not as smooth. May see what more I can find about them.

I have an 8000 and I think its great.

I just purchased a blue 5500 today from Japan, can't wait to give it a crack.

Just received this link today.

Bloody good price for one.
