Not another salmon thread

Hey guys,

Not another salmon thread, but something slightly different. I have never chased them before and will be in Pemberton next weekend to try and hunt a couple down. I've heard they are average eating at best so am keen to get some more opinions and find out the best way to prepare and cook them?

I'm thinking salmon steaks on the BBQ, on the beach, with butter and garlic after a long days fishing might be the way to go?

Cheers,

Rob

Fresh is always better.

make sure you bleed them good. they have big blood lines and if you spend time and cut them out the flesh isnt to bad.
