North Beach Jetty

Is this where the North Beach jetty is located? I know it may be common sense but oh well just clearing things up ...

What fish do you catch mostly there?

yeah Tommo that's they jetty alright.

Tailor Marc and I have fished there a few times. The main thing with this jetty is that you can only really fish comfortably with 3 or 4 people there. It is pretty small but we have had pretty good success there. There should be heaps of herring about there and the odd Tailor if you are lucky.

If you look just to the right of the platform there is a shallow reef. There are normally a few tailor lurking around the back of the reef but you can loose alot of rigs trying to catch one. If I was going there some time soon it would defiantely be worth putting a live herring out because you never know what is swimming past.

hope this helps and let us know how you get on.

All of the above can be caught of there . nice silver bream and all the reef dwellers .you do get some tailor ,salmon, but watch out if you hook somthing decent the reef is realy sharp and thats where they head every time.

I think there is resident school of toadies/blowies due to all the burley

The reef to the right is a  a great spot for a sorkel ,youl find heaps of gear.Ill have mine back if you find it.

Look out for an old fella called george ,nice bloke alwase good for a chat.

Cheers Uncle Stu
