So I'm knackered and need to hit the hay but I'm pretty enthralled by the Murdoch's getting grilled by the British MPs on Ten.
While I'm a Noam Chomsky / Neil Postman fan and I'd love to see these guys get hung out to dry if they're guilty the questioning that's going on I have serious issues with... these MPs (three of them so far) look like they're out for cheap points, they want them to go down and they're framing their questions to box them into a corner. That's no way to seek justice, if you take that line to you're questioning your approach to an issue isn't too different to the NOTW's approach.
Hope this doesn't go on for two many more hours!

Rupert's Wife.
Ruperts Murdoch's wife was the big winner at the hearing because when the protester struck she was the first on her feet and attacked back when all the big bad security guards stood around aghast at what just happened. A duel with cream pies that security couldn't cope with. Forget the hacking now we need a special meeting of parliament to work out how a breach of security occured and so the saga continues.

ABC broadcasted it in real LIVE time, Ch10 was 2 hours behind!
And it just showed up the elected members of parliment in the UK as very incompetent to say it in the nicest way.

Rupert should do the
Rupert should do the honorable thing and stand down! At 83 yrs old his judgment is clouded by years of being the big fish in the pool and he can't see the buck stops with him!
It's not that they talking about a handful of hacking cases now, it now claimed to be over 3500 and going up!
When you big cheese in a company and you keep outperforming the competition you got to ask yourself every now and then if they doing it by skill or by crook??? and that’s what he failed to do. As for James, Daddies little puppy dog youngest son and chip off the old block.
Best thing they can do is hold their shares and walk away from the boards and control to save face, or they will be broken into bits and sold to the stock market at bargain prices!
As for Rebecca!!! what is it with Red Head Ninjas telling sob stories and fibs as soon as they get to the top! ( take note Julia!!!! how hard she is falling....)
on a side-bar point, this has to be the pivotal point for jurno’s around the would to be taken to task and held accountable for actions. The whole Princess Diana saga was the start of it with their tactics of a scope pic at any cost! The ultimate price being the lives of those in the car they chased till it crashed! Now they have gone to the extent of criminal hacking and may just have sent the death knell to the days of an unregulated free press in the UK, Europe and USA. With the FBI now looking hard at the Murdoch empire and claims of 9/11 victim hacking, the ramifications from an enraged and very proud of their dead American public could just see the fall of the Murdoch empire to a shadow of it’s self.
