We stock em.
We stock the range of Yozuri and the "Ace" models also. Sizes 2.5-3.5 and they work well with blingy colour range. We sell seperately the Ab shell stick on sheets also.

all zuri's are good, just a matter of when and where. The ace's have a pretty standard sinking rate but the colors are nice. I just like them coz its sexy.
Not really new at all though

What i've always wondered
What i've always wondered is... Since companies make products that imitate real bait, fish etc... Howcome all squid jigs swim forwards when fleeing prawns go backwards? Why hasnt anyone made one that go the proper way? Even prawn stars have the real tail action but still goes the wrong way. Just a thought that i never understood lol
do we fish lures that swim backwards? So why do prawn styles always swim headfirst?

All you need to do is get
All you need to do is get out there!
Should be some Biggens around soon too now that the dredging has stopped. (land based)
My only advice is ditch the 2.5's and go a 3.0 or 3.5.

i rarely use the 2.5s unless
i rarely use the 2.5s unless its from woodies rock groyne where its shallow as hell. But there wouldnt be much loss if you did ditch the 2.5. I nearly always use 3.5 - 3.75 and theres nothing wrong with the skwids i get and how many i get. Theres not a great deal of shallows around that outdo the deeper areas so you'll find the bigger jigs more oftenly used. If i squid the north mole, no way im sittin there forever waitin for a 2.5 to hit bottom, IF it ever does depending on water conditions. Unless im not casting at all and im only dangling off a jetty, but i dont do that nearly as often as bombing out 80m to have the full space and advantage of working the jig how its made to be worked, as well as being able to use techniques that you know. Covering as much ground as you can on the retreive and gives the jig more time in the water close to the bottom. I duno about everyone else but, as far as i know, most squid are waiting close to the bottom sooooo, thats where you wanna be.
We squid the ocean with conditions not always perfect whether its weather or tidal. We're not in ponds or pools. Remember that these jigs were NOT designed to the specifications of australian waters.

not worth my time with stupid comments such as this 1 ""We squid the ocean with conditions not always perfect whether its weather or tidal. We're not in ponds or pools. Remember that these jigs were NOT designed to the specifications of australian waters." brenz

all i will say is keep the
all i will say is keep the small jigs as they will come in handy if the squid are timid and you can laugh at all the others that have left em at home as i have done many times;)

yea and all i was saying is
yea and all i was saying is that you'll find that you'll use the bigger jigs more often then you will the small ones. So it would more for you having bigger jigs over small than vice versa. Its alot harder to fish smaller in most areas and less areas around to use them according to depth. Now you can still catch on bigger jigs shallow but then again sinks faster, faster retreive. Still in saying that, you will still use larger more often no? I've caught plenty in shallow waters with large jigs without using smaller, if i find they're timid i switch colors or action. I also find, small squid prefer small jigs, though i've caught plenty on large ones.... "as i have done that many times LOL". As most know, bigger baits usually bigger catch. Would you think small jigs would catch bigger squids more commonly? Or do you aim for the small stuff?
Now, i didnt say he should throw away small jigs, just that wouldnt be a huge loss because the larger ones would be used more.
And am i wrong that yo-zuri, yamashita, harimitsu, breaden etc are made elsewhere and tested in their country to their conditions? Isnt their water qualities and clarity alot different usually to ours here?
Yea alright buddy, sorry i might of offended you with small jigs. Seems you always get huffy n puffy times anyone mentions larger jigs over small ones. Dude relax ffs, we're only talkin bout jigs here not anything else.

squih jih sizh!
There's a time and place for all sizes in squid jigs. Swan river, deep Rock groynes, shallow rock groynes and jettys!
I'll carry L/B from 2.0-3.5 mainly but may use my 3.0 more so and periodical 3.5 but again in some of my shallower area's the 2.5 is the killer or the undoing in slightly deeper spots!
Keep an open mind =)

squid jigging
perhaps a little more right handed jigging on a 2.5" prior to posting might bring a more moderate, relaxed response in future to posts.... ;)
aggressive posts make for unpleasant reading

i do agree, but some people
i do agree, but some people make it that way by attacking posts by others because they dont agree or do it that way personally, instead of s'ing-t-f-u and reading or simply posting their personal opinions which was all the author asked for, they prefer this method of unpleasantness.
But, to the author, i voiced my personal opinion and advice i could give, its totally upto you. Because only you know how often you squid and where you would choose to do it oftenly. The range of jigs out there are not as wide as it seems. So once you know what and where, shouldnt be hard to supply your needs with variety.
Something i found thats really good and is a must, is a good clip/swivel to attach and quickchange jigs. I used egi clips in several sizes, i found too finnicky and hard in low light. Normal snap swivels a lil bulky and hawaiian clips suck because, yea they're nice n easy to use, but changing to other jig sizes dont work because the closed form of the clip is too wide for the attaching ring on the jig. Best i found to use is called 'speedclips'. They're small profile, strong and damn easy to open. Takes litterally roughly 1second to remove jig from clip.
Good luck in the hunt for your jigset, if i were you, choose whats most common as starting ground, coz whatever may be common is common for a reason, after a few squid caught, you will know yourself what you need or working and not working for you.
"Long Live Egi Roll !!!" hehehe
best of luck for skwidding mate, looking forward to see what you choose to get and even more to see your catches.
