What about the 18000SW?

Sat, 2009-02-07 19:38

Wouldn't that be a much better reel to pop with? Or are you looking for a popping/jigging reel?? I thought a man with your means and access would already have a good jigging reel......

Stella!

Brendon, I have the whole Stella family but sold my 20k to Jay as i wasnt using and went through the o/h stage. As for the 18000SW, it has less line capacity, less torque power with the high speed retreive which i dont like. Its easier to wind a bit faster (if needed) keeping in mind it has a 104cm crank versus the hight at 127cm and alot harder to fight fish & wind slower. Soooo, the 20000SW is a far better pick....hense why i got that one Laughing

Matt, i like the rod, its a PE6-8 (6'3) and its perfect for throwing big poppers and smaller ones including stick baits in Exxy out of my CC. I will also use it as an allrounder down here for jigging Rubbys/Greys/sambos etc!

Anymore info then please PM me, dont wanna hi-jack Jarrods post!
