Nanofil

I've been fishing 4 pound nanofil on my small stradic but find my knot connecting to my Fluro leader to break when I give it a medium-heavy tug between my two hands. I generally tie a double uni knot as these lines are so thin and I don't have the patience to tie a more complex knot when I can barely see the dental floss. I've read somewhere that people tie the double uni knot with the nanofil doubled over- is this a case of tying to a double using a spider hitch then using the double uni?
Otherwise the line is awesome and casts so far you can sell all your boats ;)

albright
i just use an albright knot to tie my leader to my line. its good with light line and leader but if you do it with a heavy leader it does'nt cast as good because the tag faces forward and catches on the guides

the slim beauty is a great knot to use. plus also if u find ur nanofil cutting through ur leader when tightening, try doubleing the nanofil if u are gonna stick with the double uni!!!

Do people find the clear
Do people find the clear mist to spook the fish? I've been experimenting with knots and so far some kind of blood/uni hybrid knot seems to do the trick ok
