Murray river

My wife has just got a job in Mandurah, so at least now we know where we'll be settling :)

How's the fishing in and around the Murray River? What's in there? How big do they go?

Murray can be a bit hit and miss. Mainly black bream in there which provide some pretty good sport on hardbody lures and plastics although there wont be many more big ones left if some of these arsehole baitos keep catching and killing. Mind you with the amount of fish kills every year and red spot disease going on ,i wouldnt eat shit out of there anyway . Your best bet for this time of year is to try the flats in the estuary for some yellowfin whiting and the crabbing will no doubt go off again this season.
