Mulloway - full moon....no moon

 HI,

Just wondering on what you all think. I have had success on both the full moon and no moon but the full seems to be more productive. And they seem to like the bigger tides. Had very little action during the middle of the tides but bout an hour before and after high and low tides in not too long after dark seemed pretty good.

Elusive

Elusive at the best of times, I have seen plenty caught in broad daylight also, unfortunately not by me.
South Africans fish for them in the middle of the night apparently and on a full moon

Ive had success on all moon

Ive had success on all moon phases but couple of hours before and after high tide seems to be the go. The tides are starting to peak around midnight now so I will hopefully be down there giving it a bash soon.

If I spent half as long fishing , as I do reading this bloody forum , I'd be twice the fisherman I am.

I used to know a Maori who would disappear on a full moon

He would head to his "spot" and fish the night. Many a time he would return with a monster over his shoulder.

I've found other than tides

I've found other than tides being very important it also depends on location. The clearer shallower water fishes better on new moon where it's darker and offers more cover, and the rougher dirtier water or deeper water fishes better on full moon where the light from the moon dosent affect there hunting
